What should you say in a birthday video message?

Say three things: their name, one specific thing you love or remember about them, and a wish for the year ahead. That is the whole formula. Specific beats general every time: "you still sing in the car like nobody can hear you" is worth ten "you're amazing"s. Then stop talking, which is the hard part.

Mix and match the lines below. Swap in real details wherever you see a gap. A line with their dog's actual name in it beats a perfect line with no name at all.
